Hi Rhys's dad- my son was diagnosed at 15 too - hes 17 now.Its not stopped him doing anything he didnt do before just have to plan ahead abit more!!!hes training for his first half marathon in Oct which I woulndnt have thought that possible 18 months ago!- theres alot to take in at the start but it does get easier- honest- ask away everyone will always help

Welcome to the forum 🙂

I was Rhys's age when I was diagnosed (I'm now 26)

It does get easier once you know what to do & getting used to it all.

I hope he manages to sort the problem with his humalog at breakfast quickly 🙂

Hi Rhys's Dad and welcome 🙂

It must be very hard for you seeing Rhys go through this. My son was 4 when he was diagnosed so I was the one that took control, but with teenagers parents are more on the sidelines so to speak!

Hi Rhyses dad, he seems a good lad for just being 15. I was talking to him the other day. 🙂
