Welcome to the forum bill4marie 🙂

Hello from a fellow newbie & newbie type 2. I hope I can give you some moral support, we're in this together. I'm on metformin 500 twice a day.
Ask about DESMOND. It's a 6 hour course. While it'll not tell you what to do it'll provide some information on type 2 diabetes. Also you may be able to see a dietician. My area has diabetes one. I've not seen one yet so haven't got an idea what it'll be like. It's worth a go.

Hi bill4marie, welcome to the forum 🙂.

Have a look at the links already posted, and don't panic! This is a great place to find out information and get support. It takes a while to get used to having diabetes, but making necessary changes to what you eat, losing weight if you need to, doing regular exercise and so on will help enormously...as will coming on here and picking the brains of the knowledgeable folk on the forums :D.

Best of luck from another type 2!
