I have been hypo since 2.30pm. I was 3.3 then so treated it with lucozade, it came up to 4.6 then dropped back to 3.2 at 3.10pm. I treated it again with lucozade and a Breakaway biscuit, waited, still not feeling well, tested again at 4.05pm, 3.6. Have just had some of those breakfast biscuits and yet more lucozade, am running out of options as am at work. Supposed to drive home at 5pm. Who bets I'll be sky high this evening?

Crikey newbs that is not good at all...I hope your work are helping you anyway they can?

Please go carefully on your way home and hope your levels do level out! 🙂

It's scary when those happen I know, and there's nothing you can do except ride it out. I hope you're feeling better now, but if not, is there someone who can come and get you?

What a horrid afternoon :(. You're not coming down with a bug I hope?

Please get someone to take you home or get a taxi.

I hope things resolve themselves for you - but you have to have been out of the hypo state for at least 45 minutes before driving - and as things stand it sounds like you can't be sure that you won't drop back again.

I really hope that things settle for you - but if I were you I would contact a medic and see if they think anything else needs checking.

My blood is now 10.9 and I don't feel well at all. I'm still at work - didn't tell them about hypos, naughty I know, but we've been really busy and I've been in an office on my own most of the afternoon anyway (with others nearby in a separate office). I'm going to stay here until my OH comes down to pick me up though, just to be on the safe side.

Margie - these kind of hypos have been happening so I am being tested for gastroparesis soon.

Oh the joys of Diabetes!
