Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
I've been diabetic for years, and although I know it's much easier to manage today, I still hate it. I also think that there is a lack of spending by governments on research so that the next generation does not have to suffer thus and other chronic conditions.
I have been writing a blog on the subject which can be found at blog.meditexts.com please let me know what you think and add articles

Hi Neil, welcome to the forum 🙂 What insulin regime are you on? What sort of problems have you encountered over the years? There's some good research going on all over the place at the moment, on new and improved treatments, potential cures and vaccines, so things aren't standing still. I think governments tend to believe they are doing their bit by trying to persuade people to live and eat more healthily, and hopefully avoid Type 2 diabetes and a number of other potential health issues, although that is not going to help people whose problem is their genetic heritage or immune system.

Keep an eye on our News section for the latest updates on promising research 🙂
