Hi, to all that may remember me I'd like to say 'Hi' and I hope you are all doing well!

Ok, so my Blood sugar levels run high all the time, my last Hba1c was at just over 10...It has crept up all the time, I have many other health issues as some of you might remember.

The thing is, I just can't stop going to the toilet...Like urine wise!

However, this only seems to be a problem after my evening meal?...Between the hours of 6pm and around 11/12am, I will have to visit the loo some 6 to 8 times and my bladder is Full!...It drives me crazy!...But, after this time and when I go to bed, it seems to calm down, I rarely go to the loo during the night, though I am bursting in the morning!!

I know I will wee more because of my Blood sugar Levels, but I find it strange that it is worse at these specific times...Any advice or ideas would be greatly appretiated please 🙂

Oh, I only drink water with my Dinner, no alchohol at all!

Thank you...all the best, Ellowyne xXx

Hi Ellowyne, lovely to hear from you again 🙂 Sorry to hear about this problem, I wonder if it is because you tend to eat a larger meal in the evenings, with perhaps more carbs that push your blood sugar levels higher than other meals during the day? Do you normally eat a larger meal in the evening? It might be worth recording the amount of carbs in all of your meals for a few days to see how the different meals compare - I know that I personally tend to have my highest carb meal in the evening.

How long has this been going on for? Have you asked your nurse or doctor about it? I hope you find a solution very soon, take care 🙂

Hi Northerner, lovely to hear from you...I hope that you are well 🙂

It has been going on for around 9 or so months really, probably since I have experienced alot of bloating in my tumy. I do have my largest meal in the evening, but I struggle to eat because I feel full almost immidiately!

I haven't mentioned this to any health professional, I no longer see a nurse or Dr regarding my Diabetes...They gave up on me and well, I gave up going to see anyone!...I go and have my bloods done, they contact me to tell me things are getting worse and that's it really.

I have had alot of blaoting in my body, I had to have an Echocardiogram a couple of weeks ago as they thought my bloating may of been an indication of heart failure. However, this came back clear and my heart is working normally 🙂

My mobility is still very poor, I can barely walk at all and never without support....I think you are right, I maybe need to watch the extra carbs in the evening...Thank you for caring to reply, I really appretiate your help.

Thanks again, Ellowyne xXx

Good to hear that your heart is OK 🙂 But sorry to hear that you are having so many other things to deal with. Did they give you any other explanations for the bloating - will they do any more tests? I imagine if you are feeling like that then it may be putting extra pressure on your bladder, and possibly when your meal has digested the pressure is relieved so you don't feel the need for the loo so much after a few hours - just a thought! Perhaps try a light meal in the evenings, something like tuna and salad with a couple of new potatoes or a slice of bread, that won't sit heavily on your stomach?

I do hope you can find something that helps soon - remember we are always here for you, whatever you wish to talk about 🙂

p.s. I like your Christmassy avatar 🙂
