I agree with the others. If you are eating a very low carb diet and still have such high levels then you need the assistance of your diabetic team to deal with it. Get in touch with them pronto and explain the situation..
Hi thank you. Don't want to sound daft bur how do i get in touch with the diabetic team? I see a diabetic nurse but she is rarely at my surger. And she always tells me i'm the best hands with my GP because he is the only one properly trained to deal with diabetes. I don't know which way to turn
 
There is a helpline at the diabetic ward/clinic at the hospital in my area. It is not manned 24/7 so should not be used in a serious emergency but for something that is on going like your situation it should be the ideal way to access expert help. If you ring your hospital switchboard they should be able to put you through.
