OOOPS SORRY NORTHERNER , BUT I DO FEEL QUITE SICK YOU KNOW 😛😛

Well that went off the subject! Well done Northern for calming the ladies down.

When I was getting first diagnosed, one locum GP asked if I got really bad hagovers, and if I would vomit for days after!? I hadn't been.

There have been a few times recentish when I have felt a little well strange, maybe nausious, but not enough to produce anything, every time I have tested I've been okay. I'll take more note of it in future.

I'm quite good at throwing though to be honest, I spent some time working/living on boats on the ocean, and I suffered terribly! Everyone who knows me thinks it's mad I did the job!

lol i dont do being sick. have to kinda force it up. but once i start it dont stop!!!!

NO MY HUSBAND HAS HAD THE SNIP QUITE A FEW YEARS AGO. THANKS FOR ASKING THOUGH X

HA HA HA SO THATS NEITHER OF US THEN KAREN .. PMSL . MUST BE THE

INSULIN THEN ...:confused::confused:

I only tend to get the feeling that I'm going to throw up when I'm out running. It's particularly bad at the moment because I'm totally out of shape and I'm starting the old running again. Though I don't throw up, oddly I just belch instead. I can't say I recall having nausea or vomiting...the last time I ended up vomiting was when I was hideously drunk...Having said all of that I probbly just ignore it and get on.

i was just wondering if anyone who is type 1 diabetic has trouble with nausea/vomiting? over the past few weeks i have felt really sick and have vomited on quite a few occasions could this be a complication of diabetes? :confused:

I go through spells of feeling nauseous everytime I eat, was worse when I was first diagnosed but only happens rarely now. I've never been able to tie it down to anything my sugars were doing though and my doctor couldn't work out what the problem was!

Have you been tested for coeliac? Sometimes if there is a feeling of sickness together with aching joints etc and unexplained hypos soon after meals - this can be an indication of coeliac. Bev

I don't want anything else, thanks bev!😱😉

Sorry Northerner - i realised that sounded a bit blunt! Its just that a child on the other forum is suffering similar symptoms and they think its coeliac.:( Bev

This is one of my major problems since diagnosis, Tom. I have to wait for the nausea to subside sufficiently before I can go for my run, otherwise I really don't enjoy the run. Like you, I tend to feel it more as rising gas in the sotmach and belch, but it can seriously affect your breathing as you are running.

Hi. I couldn't eat well because of nausea whilst my sugar was high. Now I'm down to 6/7 its gone and my appetite is back. Don't put up with it, see your GP. Joan
