MySugr App

I would perhaps say something like:

“I am wondering about the ‘blood sugar target’ setting in the mySugr app, which according to the screenshot should be in the middle of my range. I am thinking that 7mmol/L might work well, which is a little above the middle and should help prevent lows, but without going too high. Just checking that you thought that was a good choice?”

That was if your DSN has a particular reason for thinking it should be different, they can tell you 🙂

I think the problem was, that Gill's DSN was under the misapprehension that if you wanted it to suggest a correction dose when you were over 10, you should set the target to 10.😱 . I think your wording is fine, but we may have to offer a comeback if the DSN is still confused!

Yes, my thinking was that if you showed the DSN the screen, which has pretty clear wording... it would allow them to have another go at advising and/or confirming their thinking which i din’t think was explained to Gill first time around 🙂

@everydayupsanddowns also @Robin
I have sent my DSN the email this morning with that wording and also a screenshot - I also gave her a quick call to let her know that I've sent an email - she will try and get to having a look today but she's snowed under.

Let us know what she advises Gill 🙂

@everydayupsanddowns & @Robin
Thank you so much for all your help with this - I've contacted my DSN by phone again read the email out to her and clearly explained that the blood sugar target range in the mySugr app should be set to the middle of 'my' blood sugar target range ie 5mmol - 8mmol - she finally understood bless her and said that 7 if that's what I want to set it to should be fine 🙂
