Hi, I was at my support group yesterday, and my good friend said to me, that I get myself wound up too much, she meant that I don't allow myself to cry when I am feeling depressed. And that getting suicidal thoughts ocassionally (I have never acted upon them in my life) and bizarre ones are part of the condition. Would you believe I felt anxious over that...I do like to be controlling in my emotions and prefer to write feelings down though.

Am I being too sensitive

You need to do what you are comfortable with and what works for you.

True, thanks, I am not one for tears. My mate copes with Bi polar, and getting suicidal thoughts are common place for her...she said its just the nature of her illness...but I am honest when I say I dislike getting those thoughts. I strive to better myself and hence why I learnt other techniques and went for therapy (she thinks therapy is a waste of money). But I disagree...

I don't think she meant it in a bad way. I realise that we all have different techniques in coping with our various issues. I learnt Reiki, I practice meditation and when I can get acupuncture or shiatsu treatments when I can afford it. My mindset is always striving for solutions...difficult to just sit back

Blessings, what a good job I like to probe further. My mate just text me to say she meant I should just be more relaxed about my emotions and thoughts.
Now it makes more sense to me.....I will get there in the end ...onwards and upwards
