I have invested in a treadmill, although I have two dogs, walking with them is just walk, stop sniff, walk stop poo, walk stop pee, walk stop and greet other dogs and we will be out for at least an hour.
Some days it's not practical to then go for another brisker walk my myself, so a treadmill it is.

Given that I'm normally up at 5.30 am I can jump on the treadmill for 30 mins before the girls are up, then take them out at 10am, then another 30 mins in the afternoon sometime.

The dogs looked at me as if I was mad, but diabetes won't beat me or totally control me
