Not having much luck

- 24/06 - HbA1c not done because I had corrected a hypo
http://www.diabetessupport.co.uk/boards/showthread.php?t=38197

- 08/07 - HbA1c done

- 16/07 - diabetic review - which is always 1 week after the HbA1c at my GP surgery

- 15/07 - gp surgery phone call - I'm sorry but we've had to cancel your appointment for tomorrow 16/07 because the practice nurse(who looks after my diabetes) has fallen down some steps earlier today and broken her ankle. We've got nothing at all with Ann-Marie(whoever she is) so the only other one at the surgery who does diabetes is one of the gps

- 06/08 - diabetic review - with gp - which will now be 4 weeks later
he's a very good gp if I've ever seen him re anything else, he is well known for drawing diagrams to explain what's wrong but I don't really like seeing him re the diabetes

think In the weeks leading up to my diabetic review I'll have to pay a visit to my drop in centre to see the DSN there

The majority of GP practices I rang while doing my telephone research job offered test results over the phone. Maybe you could try to find out the numbers ahead of your review?

Did they at least tell you what your Hba1c was?
