Welcome gruers, ive noticed one good thing about this lockdown is people are seeming to concentrate on getting their health back on track, me included and I'm glad you are too.
I have a my life pura meter which I now use twice a day but used it more often in the first week. I’m getting readings in the region of 6.8mol now it used to be much higher but I had pasta last week followed by a reading of 12mmol which is frightening. My problem is that I went low carb with a fridge full of high carb stuff but that’s changing
Haha! That sounds like a tricky ‘environmental factor’ 😛
Good that you have a meter to keep an eye on things. Many members here find those kinds of pairs of BG results - immediately before eating, and 2 hours later - are very helpful to identify which foods and meals are suiting your BG well, and which are causing big BG ‘spikes’
You might find the ‘what did you eat yesterday’ thread in the food section a good source of ideas for swaps and alternatives 🙂
Great to hear that you are using the lockdown to get yourself in track with your Diabetes.
There is plenty of help and support available onhere, and I know that I have learnt most of what I know about my management from others on here who are full of practical ideas.
Keep the questions coming.
