This had been on my mind all week and i just wanted to say to everyone that as i clap tonight, in my thoughts will be everyone on here. I think the welcome, the support and all the friendliness makes you guys part of my heros.
A forum like this can be a very important place to come when at the moment people feel like they are bothering their DN or doctor and often we get much better answers and support here.
So thanks for everything so far, to all of you.
Adam.
Sorry if posted in the wrong place.

What an absolutely lovely sentiment, but be aware that you have already contributed some very useful and caring posts yourself here Adam so don't forget that you will be clapping yourself too.

Adam that is lovely to hear.
So glad that you have found the forum useful and to have your input too.

What a lovely thing to say @brisr949

Thanks for being part of the forum, and being that ’hero‘ for others 🙂

When I was diagnosed this forum didn't exist - it was formed 4 months later 🙂 I've been a member since Day 2 (November 15th, 2008) and it has been absolutely the best source of support and information I could possibly have found 🙂 I've made many, many friends over the years and the people here have helped me through some very rough times (whether they knew it or not) 🙂 Such a diverse group of people with a huge amount of knowledge and experience, and I should also say that I have learned as much, and received as much support from everyone regardless of their own particular relationship to diabetes 🙂 Long may it continue, and glad you found us Adam 🙂

Lovely post Adam, this forum is a true virtual family and if you get the chance for a meet up go for it. Meet the folks you are conversing with what a pleasure it is, this forum means so much to me and probably 99.9999% of members too plus 0.0001%. Take care my friend and great to have you onboard. 🙂
