Those figures relate to last Wed but it was last night I believe that Gill had the "naughty" chocolate! Think you are managing to confuse yourself as well as Gill. 😉
Yes those figures were from last Wednesday and it was last night when I had the "naughty" chocolate

I find it interesting that you consider a chocolate "naughty" but not a Mr Kipling cake which probably has 3x the carbs in it if not more. Carbs are carbs to a large extent. You have biscuits often on a night to bring your levels up to go to bed. Some chocolate would also do that job without any guilt or naughtiness necessary!! In fact it may be the choccies through the night last night which prevented you from being hypo this morning. That said, if you need to eat chocolate or biscuits at night to prevent hypos on a regular basis then your basal insulin is likely still to high.... much as it is no doubt tempting to have a regular midnight chocolate feast! 😉

Hi @rebrascora I've only just seen this reply. Hmm re the Mr Kipling cake but I do match carbs to insulin or the other way round. If I need something to bring my levels up to go to bed ( which is often at the moment) would I be better with a chocolate biscuit rather than crisps? Re the basal I've reduced it again this morning - I've put about it in my new thread hypos and 4s!
