Thanks guys 🙂 x

Well done Kayla. As for needles apart from dental needles . I just don’t look. Dentist uses the bubble gum tasting stuff to numb my gum before injection. What a star

An HbA1c of 41 is not good Kaylz ~ its excellent ~ glad to hear your appointment went well ~ you just need to get some more flesh on you now otherwise you'll be falling down the bath plug holeo_O:(:D I wonder how that nurse would feel if she had to inject everyday?! It is said that nurses are the worst patients ~ no offence meant to any nurses reading this:D Your'e doing alright with your new found confidence K ~ keep up the good work hun xx Oh and make that phone call to the Psychology department and keep ringing til you get an appointmet. I recall @Stitch did this to get a long awaited appt with her Specialist so if it can work for her then so it can work for you too ~ so pick up that phone :Dxx

Unfortunately you can’t take the nurse out of the nurse. I haven’t been a nurse for 8 years but still can do a wee burst of the “nursery walk” at times, but as age takes over, not for as far or as long. I think nurses as patients can sometimes be a pain (also no offence intended) as they often want to know stuff, and not just basics. When I went to a children’s hospital years ago, I overheard a midwife say to another one “Gran is a nurse” so I quickly put them straight that I wasn’t a children’s nurse and knew nothing.
