My Anniversary HbA1c result

Just got my results in.

42 - which is exactly the same as six months ago but this time I was off the Metformin and it covered Christmas.

Last year which was the test that had me diagnosed as diabetic and also covered Christmas - it was 65.

So my tests over the year have been - 65, 55, 42 and 42.

All my other tests cholesterol / kidney/ liver were good/normal.

My blood pressure today was 128/76

And I have lost 3 kilos since last week.

So all in all I am a fairly happy bunny and will carry on with what I've been doing because 1. it is good for me and 2. I enjoy it.

Last year was all about learning what worked for me to keep my blood sugars behaving and this year is going to be about losing weight a bit faster while keeping my blood sugars behaving.

Thank you for all the good advice and support I've had here while finding my feet - which were also looked at today and pronounced excellent.
