Its been mentioned that when they have my annual review in just over a week the subject of these may be brought up. Im trying to keep an open mind about both Just wondering which would be best for me. Im a type 2 diabetic on insulin, other meds are in my signature. I at my heagyest was 26 stone im now 17 stone so have lost a fair bit on my own by carb/cal counting. But i guess my DRs not 100% happy with this lose. Just wondered wot others thought of this
Any experiences of either and hints/tips would be greatfully recieved. I know peole on her have had success with either of them. Guess Im just looking for some knowledge to go armed with i guess. Im open to them just wanna know of the 2 which is better for me
I know neither are quick fixs but im prepared to put in hard work what are peeps ideas?

Whichever is available at your pharmacy is most likely the best option, but don’t feel pressured to try either of them. Clearly what you’re already doing is working so if you don’t want to change anything you don’t have to.

You have been doing really well with your current regime so it seems unnecessary to add some other medication into the mix, when there may be complications when you are not managing your insulin yourself as it may change what you need and unless your nurse understands how to change it it may cause a problem.

Thanks @Leadinglights and @Lucyr thays what i thought im doing so well on my own neverless i will go with an open mind and see what they say. I feel im on enough meds as it is and dont really want more added to the mix
cheers
