Hi, I have been put on mounjaro, initially 2.5ml which my first injection was last Thursday (27th Feb). This will go up to 5ml after first month.
My GP practice run through all the information and side effects of taking it including nausea and diarrhea. I'm not too worried about these as so far on my 51st year on this planet, I've been lucky enough not to really suffer with side effects from taking medicine (except steroids which put my blood sugar to +30 mmo/l)
However, that said, I am getting the nausea feeling after food. For example, lunch was at around 12.30-13.30 had a sandwich and a packet of crisps and squash, nothing outrageous. Felt full quite quickly so doing it's job I guess. However the nausea feeling came pretty quickly and still hasn't gone away, is this typical of your experiences?
Had the feeling full sensation quite soon after the injection but the nausea didn't start really until last night.
I did do a Dr. Google only looking at reputable sites so have some pointers to try. Thanks.
