Insulin. Novorapid,solostar. Been diabetic for 60 years. Been counting carbs since 1961, or black lines as it was known back in the day

I’m guessing by solostar it might mean lantus?

Sounds like you‘ve had an interesting time of things over the years. We have a fair few long-termers on the forum, but glad to have your years of experience to add to the centuries of lived diabetes experience we have here. 🙂

Hi. Long termers . Haven't known anything different and it hasn't stopped me from doing everything, what everyone else has and does.
 
Wow! You must have seen so many changes over the years.
Just a bit. From steel glass syringes and steel needles,that were as thick as a javelin and had to be boiled each day. To the sleek micro fine kit we have today. Early days glucose test was weeing into a small tube, then dropping an acetone tablet into it, to see what colour it went lol
