I'm recently diagnosed Type 2, and am adjusting OK but am struggling to think of a replacement for my morning glass of orange juice - it really helped me remember to take my AM medication, with having a glass of juice a day.

I only ever drink tap water or coffee, once a week I'll have a pint of Robinson's Blackberry & Blueberry diluting juice and twice a year I'll have a flavoured sparkling water xx
Sometimes when going around Lidl's aisles I really fancy something different to drink, and they have various different fizzy drinks, or there are no added sugar squashes - maybe try some of them?
I might get a load one visit and then not bother with anything other than coffee or water for months - it seems to have no effect on anything if I drink them or not.

I am also recently diagnosed and a glass (or more) of orange juice was a daily staple for years. I have a Soda Stream which I have been using for years plus (now) a range of sugar free flavours. I initially bought it to reduce the amount of plastic bottles I was using (which worked very well). But it also saves money and has also helped to increase my water consumption. You can quite often pick them up on special offer in places like Lidl/Aldi or on Amazon.

I was looking at getting a Sodastream but rejected it as I couldn't find sugarfree flavours. I will look again. I assume you can use chilled water so the drink is then cold.

There are few sugar free own brand versions of Cola and Sprite. Don't forget that you can also use other manufacturers flavours as well. About 80% of the time I have been buying other brands. Take a look on Amazon and you may find some alternatives.
I have sparkling flavoured water (Tesco's) to take all my tablets and then white coffee. Coffee in a morning and tea in an afternoon, either or in the evening.
I have just started using them, but one flavour option is Bolero, which is a powder you can add to still or sparking water. They are marketed as advanced hydration flavours, which is probably just a bit or marketing. However, they have zero sugar and so far I have liked them. They are not cheap, probably about 40-50p per 1.5l
My go to if it isn’t tea or a coffee is green tea or peppermint tea and it goes down a treat . If it’s milk tea or coffee it’s almond milk like just enough to cover the bottom of the cup like it isn’t much at all . I haven’t tried black tea but I have tried black coffee and oh my I didn’t like the taste of that at all .
I get a glass and put in a dash of balsamic vinegar and same amount of apple cider vinegar followed by an inch of diet cola. I then fill the glass right up with tap water and add a scoop of psyllium husk and a teaspoon of chia seeds, stir until it goes gloopy and drink it down followed by a cup of coffee with double cream. I know it sounds totally weird and probably disgusting but I really enjoy it and so does my gut!

I have always loved my cranberry juice in the mornings and struggled to give it up. However I now mix it with 50% water. Robinsons sugar free summer fruits cordial is also really nice.

Pepsi recently bought them, and as of a couple of weeks ago I could get the sugar free versions of Pepsi and 7-up. An improvement on their old flavours!
Mornings without coffee are unusual for me. But I've also learned to drink water with a few drips of lemon juice. It's not that great initially, but you get used to it and now I drink it all the time.
