Presumably one of the shorter acting basal insulins though it doesn't specify beyond the basal dose being given at night. Interesting. I wonder if that will ever become standard to initiate early, and if so which HbA1c they'll choose as the cutoff
 
An evening dose of insulin for T2s appeared to prevent it.
While I don't get it as frequently and it isn't as impactful as pre insulin (and I can add corrections to "deal" with it when I get up), I still get dawn coming out to try and ruin my day.
