Spoke to an animas cusomer care lady yesterday, explained all the problems I have been having with my pump/blood sugars since changing to the Animas pump. Today in the post I received some different cannulas to try. As it's Christmas/new year she said a courier wouldn't be able to get to me until next week so she said she would put a few in the post to tide me over. They arrived this morning 🙂

Top notch service Sue well done Animas

How are you getting on with the new cannulas?

How are you getting on with the new cannulas?

Hi Monica,
thanks for asking 🙂 So far 100% better results have been running from low 4's to high fives all the time except after last night's evening meal (7.9)
Set change today and still normal numbers for me.
Must admit to being staggered how much difference a mm or two makes. 9mm kinks the cannula as hits muscle and 6mm now causing probs. 8 now seems to be the right way to go.

I'm glad it's worked out for you. I saw that Animas has different cannulas, but Carol gets on OK with the first ones she was given.
