So sorry that the news is not better AJ At least they are taking action and you know what is going to happen and when. You are so brave and courageous, you have my admiration. Hope all continues to go well. Why not have a little treat today? 🙂

Happydog after the appointment we celebrated our 12th living together anniversary by having drinks by the river followed by a bottle of champagne and dinner at Europe's longest champagne bar Today I'm treating myself to lots of reading on my IPad and Kindle🙂

Really hope this can be sorted for you with minimal loss of vision and minimal pain and discomfort. I went through this with my mum and understand the angst! 😱

Thank you everyone. The anniversary celebrations were great but my stress levels are leading to me waking up in the night trembling and with nightmares. I've not been told if this lasering will prevent the problem from occurring in other parts of my eye. Its unusual to get these new vessels so long after a retinal vein occlusion so my guess is that it is difficult to predict what will happen after the lasering. The lasering from two weeks ago has already caused some problems with my vision.

Thank you so much Alan. It does feel never ending. Next Thursday is another Moorfields visit, this time for the eye muscle problems, then on Friday it is a pre-op assessment for dental surgery under general hospital the other side of the county. M only has two days annual leave between now and the end of July and was going to use them for these appointments. However I now need to go both of them on my own in case the eye general anaesthetic is this month and he needs the annual leave for that. It feels never ending
