Hi,

I have metformin and Dapagliflozin 10mg.

This morning with being distracted, I had the Dapa out but can't remember whether I took it or not. I'm fairly sure I didn't....but is the safer and better option to skip? Surely it's much better than doubling up? Please advise.

Thanks 🙂

i would say why dont you ring 111 and seek advice as if its safe to take if you are unsure if you have taken it

Yes, I would skip rather than risk a double dose.

I've been there. I'm on metformin and dapaglifozin. I'd prefer to forget dapaglifozin every day as I worry about eating enough carbs. Ironically my hba1c is now 44 and last week the DN said I could drop one metformin or the dapaglifozin. I regret chosing to drop 1 metformin ( I was on 2)
As you are not sure if you have taken it rather than know you haven't and asking about taking late I would skip today but make a big effort to take tomorrow morning.

I’d read the leaflet and it will say to skip it

How did you get on @madfish

What did you decide to do?
