Mini milestone!

I know the feeling with nuts. I stay away from cashews as much as possible and did have to stop picking at nuts. I have got it under control now.

I have given my friend the freshwell site and the recipes and also a book by Michael Moseley. I cannot really do much more. I cannot make her change her diet. I know she does realise she should do but I think it is just lack of motivation.

Many thanks for all the info.

Each one of us needs (or needed) a real reason to change to achieve and/or maintain a healthier lifestyle. Maybe your friend just hasn't had a loud and strong answer to her "what's in it for me to give up all this deliciousness?" question.

Perhaps one day she will.

Personally, nuts I can take or leave, but if I have too many of them, it's not good. That helps with the internal "no more for me" switch.
