Mike is moving to the Carribean...

i hate doing this but i am gonna be reviving this thread to tell you all that im off at the end of august to live abroad. think that due to the fact i will be working in the carribean that commuting to and from the uk is a little out of the question lol so i am looking at a couple of properties in grand cayman. so folks i will be bidding the uk a fond farewell and also to this great site, but alas dont worry as i will try and pop on as often as i can 🙂

Hi Mike ? I have started this as a new thread...hope you don't mind.
Personally - I would love to hear how you get on with your diabetes being treated in different country - ie the standard of care and if they treat it the same - and if their is a cost implication etc etc...although I have travelled extensively - I have never actually lived permanantly in another country with it! One thing I do expect is your insulin usage to go down in such a lovely climate... I can see it now...eyes closed....

it is in the next 4 weeks!!!!crikey!!!! lol i go out to hawaii in 3 weeks time and spend a few days aclimatising then do the event then im off to somalia for a few days then to japan lol

Goodness! What time do you think you might do? I've heard that under 10 hours is pretty good going!😱
