For the past 3 days I have been feeling really unwell, constant headache and nausea and my BG has been swinging from high to low. I?m still able to work but feeling pretty rough ? paracetemol aren?t doing anything so considering going to the pharmacy at lunchtime and getting some Migraleve but not totally sure it is a migraine as the pain although painful continuously is not intense.

I haven?t taken migraleve before ? is it ok to take/does it have an effect on BG?

I wouldn't self-medicate without knowing what the problem really is. Can I suggest you talk to the pharmacist privately first, and seek a doctor's opinion s/he advises you to. Hope you feel better soon.

I decided not to go to the pharmacy at lunchtime as didn't feel like driving so will see how things go tonight. If no better tomorrow I will probably do as you suggest and speak to the pharmacist. Thanks for your reply.

Hope you are feeling better. Hubby gets migraines like that but second advice to take pharmacists advice and see the doctor, or NHS may be able to advise.

I still have the headache today so spoke to the pharmacist this morning and she didn't want to suggest anything other than seeing my gp. Saw the gp this afternoon and I have a high temperature too so he thinks the headache is viral. If it is it should go away over the next couple of days, if not I have to go back next week. In the meantime I am now on co-codamol.

I then had a hypo of 1.9 in M&S where my vision went - luckily DH didn't panic this time and bought me a lovely coffee and delicious slice of bakewell tart 🙂

Sorry to hear about the hypo! Hope you are feeling much better very soon 🙂
