Just got my new Miaomiao from China. Trying to find out how to set it up and find I need a Facebook account with the Spike App. Does anyone know how to set it up with iOS without joining Facebook? I have no desire to join the leakiest organisation in the world and send my data to whoever wants to buy it.

From what I can see the support seems to be via a FB group, but I’m not sure you need FB to use Spike?

You have to log on to the Spike database through Facebook. I have actually logged on to Facebook with all the privacy settings maxed up without blocking external apps. Haven’t tried the system out yet, but I’m changing sensors in 12 hours. I’ll see what happens then.

All sorted, downloaded. It’s all on my iPad at the moment. I’ll bung it on the watch when it arrives on Monday. I must say, it looks very smart, and will be incredibly useful. My settings are similar to yours, Benny. There are two alarms for both high and low - one is for expected highs, the other for surprise highs. As if:D

I downloaded it to the iPad because on the phone my fingers aren’t as accurate with passwords and such. Not a big deal, to be honest.

This is really intriguing, I've only recently seen this gadget, I shall watch with interest to hear how you get on @mikeyB , something for the new year maybe. @Benny G your techy posts are always interesting, even if I don't really know what you're taking about.🙂 This seems relatively straightforward.
