meter is being silly.

my meter is being stupid and i don't know what reading to believe.
first i tested and it came up with 1.9, which i was like this can't be right and i know it i'm not that low.
test again and i'm 4.2.
also got a Error 3, got the meter Optimum something...
just worried me, 1.9 is scary.

Have you got another meter, or some control solution for the meter with strange results? E-3 says 'there may be a problem with the strip, try a new one'

um no they never gave me control solution for my meter but i do have another meter, i have treated the hypo as i know i am having one.

tested on another meter im at 7.6, so i'm thinking i did have a hypo, as i had a very sugary indian tonight and gave extra insulin obviously i over estimated it. :/

E3 suggests a problem with a test strip - I get them occasionally.

If you haven't registered you meter you should because then if it breaks Abbots will replace it and as Northerner said you can order test solution for free. You can also get free replacement batteries - the PC software and a usb to download your results.

Hope this morning your levels are more to your liking.
