I have sadly discovered today that one of my lecturers (from a million years ago!) died last month. He invented a way to show metabolic pathways in map format and gave his 'discovery' to the world, continuing until he was 96. This link is to the glucose metabolism map that he produced for students only 10 years ago. Some thanks must go to him for educating everyone in the complications of metabolism including diabetes.

this is rather tongue in cheek...but take a look at this! -

Cheers to you Dr Nicholson - lovely lovely man!

Wow, that's quite a diagram! Many thanks to Dr Nicholson for helping to improve the lives of countless thousands, may he rest in peace.

Good grief ! Might just as well all be written in Greek, for me.

If nowt else, I think he must have had the patience of a saint to have produced that!

RIP indeed.

Wow what a diagram so much clearer than the ones in my text book. Well done Dr Nicholson.
