Wise words indeed.

I'm lucky enough not to have had real depression. But i've seen it at work and I'm releaved 'God' or 'fate' or whatever gave me diabetes and not that.

I know the two are linked, so Respect to those of you who have to cope with both.

a very straight forward message and a very true one speaking as someone who suffers from depression the best and sometimes only thing you can do is to listen to someone whos struggling with the black dog

One of my friends has bouts of depression and always says the best thing anyone can do is be there and the best support is to bring her a cup of tea from time to time.

I know it is not a one size fits all soloution and I know people find it difficult to talk which makes it harder for those trying to give support, but if we were all there for just one person with depression I am sure it would make a difference to them.
