Now I have been having double vision for the last few weeks been wearing a patch and a couple of visits to to the eye clinic and Doc in Aberdeen got a prism on one lens of specs to help correct it

Just back from local doctor who got a letter from the Doc in Aberdeen and now on Ramipril 2.5 mg and Clopidogrel 75mg instead of aspirin on top of the metformin. Anyone else on these two anything to look out for thanks

Hi Donald, I was on both of these after diagnosis. I didn't have any problems with the Clopidogrel, but with the ramipril I started getting bad nausea when they increased my dose to 5mg (I think they normally try to build you up to 10mg). I was taken off it and given a different drug (candesartan) instead.

Hope you don't have any problems with them 🙂

hope you don't have any problems withthe new drugs. I find it helpful to read the patient information leaflet that come with the medications.

Thanks Alan Caroline, Doc said about Ramipril that I might get a dry trickily cough and monitored to see for a bit to see how I have got on with them. I have had a read of the patient information leaflets that came with them they were helpful, so hoping there will little or no problems.

Yup - THAT cough is quite common. If you get it they just chnage you to a different BP drug - like Northie - I was on Lisinopril - and they changed me to Olmesartan, then it became too expensive and I got changed to Losartan.

Had no problems at all with either ~sartan. Just the ~prils.

Had to look Clopidogrel up - so can't comment on that as I obviously haven't got whatever you need it for!

I was on 75mg of Aspirin but it was changed to Clopidogrel instead
