Hi G3m

Nice and simple introduction - keep it going and good luck with it. 🙂

Yeah Good start, will you try to cover how you think its affected those around you, parents, siblings, school pals etc. I am type 2 but my daughter has been type 1 from 11 months old so I have seen both sides. The pain, anguish and blame a parent feels when their told of the diagnosis is very difficult, we all cope differently of course but it would be interesting to see how you see it. Good luck Al

thank you so much, if you could share it around to friends or whatever that would be great.

i am going to try and cover as much as i can with every aspect of my life and how it has affected me and my family and friends. i will add that to the list of idea for posts.

thank you so much and please keep reading it

thanks
G3m 🙂

Good luck with your blog - we've been writing one for a few years now. Just write from the heart and write for yourself and people will find you.

Really good idea to do this. It might give someone of your age or any age for that matter an insight about how you are controlling your own condition. It might also help others to control theirs. I really hope that it takes off for you and wish you the success you deserve with it. Very good luck. I shall ensure that I watch it develop.

Thank you so much 🙂

That would mean so much for you to look at it

Thank you for the support

Thanks

Really good to hear your experiences 🙂 I will be interested to hear how things go with the adult clinic. This is something I have no experience of, but I know it can be a difficult transition for a lot of young people - I hope your new team are really good and you get on very well with them! 🙂 Keep up the good work! 🙂

Well done for doing this G3m. The transition from leads to adult care is a specific focus this year for DUK so it will be good to read how things go. Thanks for prompting us on here when you do a new post.

Keep this going G3m and keep posting the link for us. A good summary of the benefits of pumping.

Out of interest have you had any of the hooks on the bra pouch break. I found that they kept falling apart and Accu check wanted £20 for a new pouch as it was not possible to buy just the hook. If you have had this issue what have you used in its place? I have tried a v large paper clip, a plastics company were fascinated by the problem and made me a few replacements. I now just stuff it under the strap but it Is nowhere near as comfortable. So any ideas welcome.

Happy pumping

Hey G3M
That's a nice blog you're brewing there, I imagine you could get quite a nice audience going amongst teenagers and young adults (and us slightly older adults 😉), a thought occurred to me when reading about you cutting a hole in the pocket of your jeans, could you pop photos on there or maybe a "how to" adapt your clothing guide. i think people would find that really useful, and a few pictures will help pull people in. its really good, I just caught myself thinking oh what a good idea, then wondered how to do it, should have said that bit first! I'm not a pumper btw I'm a stabber, but I wonder about these things, usually as I'm flashing my stomach to all and sundry in a restaurant and wondering if I'll ever be able to wear a dress again without being arrested for a public disorder offence 😱

So let's start the thread.
