I can't remember if you are taking metformin because if so that could be causing the nausea, but if you are continuing to take it without food it becomes a vicious circle.
Yes, the slimfast shakes do seem high carb, I think a few people use other brands like Tesco but I don't know if they are lower carb.
Perhaps some advice from your diabetic nurse or GP would help.
What are your blood glucose levels like?

I am taking metformin 4 a day.
My bloods aren't the best 9.2 on waking reduced to 7.2 I had tuna mayo and an egg like 3g carbs they went up to over 9 again. I honesy think I'm overthinking it not tested since the slim fast x

Not sure where you got the 67g carb from but the carbs in a made up shake or premade seems to be about 20 ish g carb depending on flavour.
If you are taking the metformin without 'a substantial' meal that could account for the nausea. The rise from 7.2 to 9 with the tuna and egg is OK, the waking at over 9 is higher than you really want but often that is the last to come down.
I would keep a record of your readings before and 2 hours after eating alongside what you have had and any symptoms of feeling unwell, at least for a few days. It could be your system just getting used to the metformin.
But if it continues do speak to your DSN.

Ty yes your right re carbs I read it wrong, I don't feel so bad now ty.
I need to eat more and test more.
Appreciate your help ty

Call me suspicious, but if you are eating really low carb and still seeing high blood glucose - checking for ketones and arranging an urgent appointment with GP or nurse might be a good idea - or if you start to feel even more unwell, dial 111 or visit A & E.
