Diagnosed Type 2 on 5 August 2021
No meds at the moment.

Haemoglobin A1c level 6.5 % [4.0 - 5.9] Haemoglobin A1c level - IFCC standardised 48 mmol/mol [20.0 - 41.0]
Weight at diagnosis: 160 pounds (72.5kg)
Weight at last check: 141 pounds (63.9kg) - into healthy weight finally !!! 140 pounds (63.5kg) 135.5 pounds (61.46kg) 135 pounds (61.23kg)
Next check-up due in April 2022 - or maybe not ....

Many food intolerances such as white processed bread (due to yeast not having enough time to make product edible before being baked), olive oil, peppermint oil, raw tomatoes, oranges - the list seems to grow continuously...... add on another type of hay fever med and lettuce

...until NHS Low Calorie Diet started in May 2021 - Stopped ALL Meds incl. Statins (Statins may play a part again at some stage)

I lost 20Kg and am now really happy with my weight at 57-58Kg (I'm only 5ft 4"!), and I feel fitter and way more energy than I have done in years!
