Hello,

My name is Helena Bilsborough and I am a Health Psychology masters student at the University of Manchester. For my dissertation I am looking at what people write in online support groups in order to understand the experiences of people with diabetes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The posts used in this research will be a sample of those posted on and after the following three dates: 11th March 2020, 2nd April 2020 and 1st June 2020. We will remove any identifiable information from posts we use when writing up the research.

If you are uncomfortable with your posts being used in this research and wish to opt-out you can email me at: HELENA.BILSBOROUGH@POSTGRAD.MANCHESTER.AC.UK The deadline to opt-out will be two weeks from today, on the 14/07/2021, if no email is received by this deadline it will be assumed that you are happy for your posts to be accessed and used in the study.
