Hello lovelies
I cannot believe it the results like holy dam ,
So my HBA1c
From the first lot was 66mmol - 8.2%
Today when I went and seen my doctor
And it came back as 5.3 % - 33 mmol

All I did was
- exercise - resistances training / cardio
- Low carb
- metrofirm 1000 mg Every night

Sorry I’m still in shock like 100% I cannot believe my hab1c is down back into normal range .

my doctor will review my medication but for now I’ll stay on it and see where we will go from there. I’m over the moon like literally .
Now all I have to do is keep it there and maintain it .
even my doctor was over the moon and she even said a massive congratulations to me for it . All I have to do is keep doing what I’m doing .

I’ll be seeing my nurse next month and she will be happy with the results and same with my specialist , they will also be happy to .

Well done. Maybe you will become medication free too.

That’s what my doctor thinks but she would love to wait and see what my specialist recommends and she wants to discuss it further after that . That’s what my goal is to hopefully be medication free also

Well done that is a fantastic result and YOU did it be very proud of your self

So lovely to hear you sound so happy. You were so worried at the start but today you are a super hero, so get yourself a cape, put your hands on your hips and gaze off into the distance. Well done jacinta!!

Woohoo!!! Many congratulations Jacinta. Fantastic reversal as a result of a lot of hard work on your part. Hope you will worry less now that you have made such a wonderful improvement and fingers crossed you will be able to move towards medication free maintenance.
How do you feel about the way you are eating? Are you enjoying your new diet and lifestyle? I am sure you will be enjoying the feeling of success and relief. Do you feel that you will be able to maintain it without too much effort? Hopefully so. I know I no longer crave the foods that I used to eat and I enjoy the new foods that I have introduced into my diet.

Good luck with continued success in beating the Diabetes monster.

Thankyou Rebrascora
I defiantly feel way less stressed , I’m hoping that when I continue on what I been doing will help it stay where it is now , from what my doctor has mentioned today she will defianetly discuss the medication situation with me seeing as she was shocked at what my result was from my HBA1c blood test , so I am defiantly happy with that .

I feel amazing and I feel a lot happier and defiantly more fuller when I’m eating the right foods , I don’t crave anything anymore , I don’t even have the urgh to eat the wrong foods , I really enjoy the foods I am eating , I defianetly have a lot of energy , I’m not tired , I certainly don’t have any utis what so ever and it feels amazing not going to the toilet so often as I was when I had utis .
I defiantly think so , I enjoy working out and doing cardio and the change in diet , I find it relaxing and enjoying life more this way then I did before . The new food that I eat I enjoy it so much more now and I’m finding different ways to make the meals filling, after eating I love the fact I don’t go for food after wards knowing I’m safastified until say like lunch or dinner .
I also feel my mental state has also relaxed quite a fair bit aswell , I’m not as stressed as I was at the start . I will admit I was a tad worried about what the HBA1c result was going to be and if it was going to go up instead of down but I’m so glad that I put the effort in and the results defiantly showed and it showed my doctor that what I have been doing does work and that I can do this. I’m just glad she noticed my efforts in the results and was more then willing to discuss about my medication and hopefully I can continue this without them .
I believe I got this and I will continue to do this for the rest of my life no matter what the challenges are.

That really is fantastic to hear. Enjoying your food is such an important aspect of life, so the fact that you are not feeling deprived or finding your new diet difficult is really important to the long term sustainability of it. Great to hear that you are feeling so much fitter and healthier physically and mentally as well, so it really seems like you have "cracked it"! And in a surprisingly short space of time too. Really wonderful achievement!

I 100% agree with you needing to enjoy the food you are eating and defiantly staying on track with the diet without it hopefully being to hard . I’m amazed that I was even able to knock the blood sugars down that low to be honest .
Thankyou heaps 🙂
