Had a Mars bar today. Before Bg was 5.3. 1hr later, 9.6! 2hrs later, 6.4. 3hrs later, 4.3. I seem to be suffering from panicking pancreas. All part of science. I didn't even enjoy the Mars bar. It was like shoveling my face with sugar.

Yup, sudden input of sugar causing your pancreas to overproduce and consequent low sugar levels. I think it's a perfectly normal reaction, even in non-diabetics! 😱 I'm the same now with what seems like a HUGE sugary item like a Mars bar - can't really face them! 😱 🙂

Yeh but, Mars bars are only half the size they used to be in the 60s.
Very true.
Pre diagnosis I used to enjoy one mars bar a day with a nice mug of coffee😱

o_O the things you eat, in the name of science!!!

I used to use my Luncheon vouchers to buy one Mars bar and a packet of fags for my lunch every day when I worked in London.
