Hi all

Don't know if this is the right place to put this - maybe should go on recommended books. (Northerner? 🙂)

Anyway last week i picked up a copy of a magazine for ?3.99 called 'light & easy' which came with a free book 'Supersize vs superskinny' (worth 14.99!).

The recipes are simple and healthy. Not necssary low carb though some are. I have already cooked several recipes from both the magazine and the book.

The reason i am recommending the book is that it teaches you about a good diet (no dieting!). It would be good for anyone who really wants to get to grips with a healthy but interesting diet. It explains good and bad fats well and really makes you understand what a good diet is.

Last night i made korma cottage pie! Delicious. Low carb too as i topped with only a little mashed potato but you could top it with mashed veg instead to remove the carb.

Tonight i am going to do the thai chicken curry.

Believe me, i am no cook so if i can follow the recipes, anyone can! :D

But be quick if you want to by it! It is exclusive to Tesco and it is the August edition of the mag so will be off the shelves very soon i guess!

Mand xx 🙂🙂

Sounds really good Mand, I love the sound of korma cottage pie. I get this tikka lasagne from iceland and really enjoy that.
