Hi any one switched to Lyumjev, and if so are you pumping it?

Just wondering if i am going to be a guinea pig......

Never yet found a Lilly insulin that suited me so I'd be in no rush to try it. TBH, if it ain't broke, why do you need to change?

Unfortunately it / me is broken. Have spent 2 years trying to convince my oncologist that the somatuline to control tumour growth in the liver was impacting natural glucogen production (the leaflet says it could do but they weren't having it) making day to day BS control more dificult than it used to be. Saw the nurse specialist last week and she arranged for a diabetic consultant review of my CGM & Pump Data. He agrees i have an issue and thinks the best option is to go for quicker acting insulin than novorapid. Sounded logical when he explained although will be a challenge as all pump settings are going to need changing.....Tried to find information on line after call but theirs not a lot out there.

Lyumjev is a real new kid on the block insulin-wise. I don’t even know if it is rated for pump use yet. I’m not sure there will have been any clinical trials yet, but it feels a bit unlikely.

I have heard of a few people successfully using Fiasp in a pump (NovoNordisk’s ultra-rapid offering) but I think pump companies are a bit cautious about its use.

I guess you’ll have to out your pioneering hat on, and voyage off into the new world!

Yeah I'd heard of FIasp and was half expecting that to be suggested. Hopefully just another challenge along the way and no worse than: Levermir or Lantus, set units to DAPHNE, Lantus to Animas, Animas to Basal IQ, Basal IQ to Control IQ (although don't think i truly mastered this change) and now Novorapid to Lyumjev. Not forgetting before meal / with meal, single dose / split dose.
