hi lin,
i too am on metformin, glicacide, and stagalitin, i have a feeling the doctor might change my as my last fasting blood test was 73 last year it was 59 i dont seem to get it below 9, my weight is stable not sure what cholestrol was

Hi @lynnie2 ,Welcome. I'm guessing here, is it that you are worried about being put on insulin? . If so please don't worry, it's the best thing that could have happened to me. My finger prick BG (blood glucose) levels were around 22 when I was put on insulin, mind you I was in hospital full of infection at the time.
Their are other meds for us T2s that the might want to try you with first.

Have you been diagnosed long.
How did you come o be diagnosed.
Many of us on here have reduced our carbohydrate intake which has helped a lot, things like, potatoes, rice, pasta and bread esp white. Apologies if you are already doing this
