Hello lovelies , I need suggestions for low carb dinners please and Thankyou . As I’m waiting patiently to see a dietician I’m starting to slowly run out of ideas basically and also cook book recommendations for someone new to low carb , it’s just to get me by until I see my dietician pretty please and Thankyou

If you look on the internet for low carb or Keto recipes you will find lots (will not cost you anything). But look at the What did you eat yesterday thread for ideas of meals that Type 2 folk have. Some people like the Pinch of Nom books but there are lots out there.

The recent Caldesi cookbook has some good recipes in it. Also, the hairy bikers eat your way out of diabetes book. @adrian1der commends the pinch of nom cookbooks

If you're like me and not cooking for a family, jig the ingredient levels around because you'll be eating stuff for days!

If your local supermarket chains do food magazines - check those out as there are frequently lower carb options in them to try or tweak recipes. Have fun!

Hi @Jacinta, you could do what some of us do which is to cook regular meals but substitute rice/spuds/pasta for green veggies. It seems a bit strange at first eating curry or chilli with broccoli and green beans, but now I actually prefer it...honest! :D

I agree with @Leadinglights, that thread What did you eat yesterday is really helpful. Best of luck.
