Low carb diets and medication

What medication are you on? Are you self testing?
 
How long after dinner? 5.6 is spot on, so with a combination of medication and diet you're doing really well.
If you want to cut your meds you need to see your GP or DNS and discuss it first.

Probably is a good idea to talk to your DSN, though you may have to be insistent.
 
Are you a newly diagnosed diabetic? as for the medication "glucophage" just a brand of metformin sounds like your at a good place now with bg numbers and there maybe no gain by reducing the dose

That's where I am, there are many benefits from Metformin...... Of course if my bowels start to act up then I'll drop it like the proverbial hot potato..... Oh, can't have those any more.....

I know that feeling only too well from when i was taking the same brand as the Op now i take the brand sukkarto and dont get those joyous side effects anymore 🙂
