Hi all

Update time
lots going on atm starting with a new job so good start to the year. working nights I knew things would be a challenge but that's a routine I'm getting used to now.
Had my 6 month ac1 blood test 1st one since I was told I had diabetes in October and down from 100 mmol to 54 mmol which I'm happy with.
Bad news is I have very high blood pressure now so now on tablets for that.

Do you think the blood pressure is down to the new job Mark? Brilliant work on the hba1c, well done!

That's a good drop - well done. Keep doing what you're doing as it's clearly paying off.

Hi @mark1985!
Congratulations on the new job! It’s great to hear you’re finding your rhythm with the night shifts, especially when juggling everything else.
That drop in your HbA1c is such a brilliant achievement - from 100 to 54 mmol is a huge step, and really shows how much effort you’ve put in. You should feel proud of that progress.
Sorry to hear about the high blood pressure, though - that must have felt like a bit of a blow just as you were seeing such positive results elsewhere. Hopefully the tablets will help get it under control quickly. If you’re ever unsure or need to talk through how it fits into the bigger picture, we’re all here for you.
Keep looking after yourself, and well done again on all you’ve accomplished so far!

 Congrats on the Hba1c reduction @mark1985 and hope the new job goes well

Well done! That's an amazing reduction. Give yourself a pat on the back for all your hard work. Hope the high BP gets resolved soon.
Good luck with your new job.

Well done on your terrific HbA1c reduction @mark1985

Hope the BP meds help to bring your blood pressure into line. Keeping BP down is such a good precautionary measure for so many things.

Well done on the HbA1c @mark1985 I said "wow" out loud.

Take care of yourself.

Wow that is amazing drop in your BG, really well done.

When you say high blood pressure, some questions please.. How high? How is it measured? Do you have a high salt in our diet?

hi
Blood pressure was done at the doctors and was 180 over 120. This has gone down a little now with meds. And about the same amount of salt as before really.

Ok the 180/120 is high and wouldn't be down to high salt.

Also with high blood pressure I find it can be trial and error which medicine works.

Finally I find walking helps lower mine.
