Hi there,
Can I ask, does anyone on here feel they have a short fuse or a bit of a temper. I’m putting this down to my diagnosis, and the Meds. Last week, there was a guy in the petrol station, and he was using his mobile phone while he was filling his car, I didn’t half bark at him. Then today in an ASDA popped in for milk, tried four self-services till and all were card only till, one of the staff asked what was up, that turned out to be a bit of a mistake, on her part anyway. This is not like me, does this happen to anyone else out there. If so does it get better, or like T2D am I stuck with it?

Just asking. Thanks...

Hi Phil, yes, I do get a little cranky if my BG is running higher than normal. Get the BG under control & moods will even out.

I found that persistently high blood sugar's caused me to have a particularly short temper. I used to snap at my girls for no reason and loose control of my emotions. When I got my insulin, I felt so much better and realised how much my mood had been effected by my blood sugar levels

Thanks guys, I thought is was just me. I'll see if it sorts its self out as I get my BS under control..

Hi Phil...its not just you...find I am a bit like that myself...off to lunch last Sunday...man in the car park being smart...bit his head off...doesn't happen often...and usually manage to control it quite well...occasionally we need to let off steam.

I am the same just thought it was a menopausal thing xx lol xx

I dunno, I'm like my old mum, quick to anger sometimes and always have been...2 or 3 years ago I was so fed up with myself I decided to give up 'pedestrian rage' (ie getting angry and shouting at cyclists and cars jumping the lights) for Lent :(. It did at least make me stop and think first before reacting.

Ah well see, it could be menopausal - because our 'ormones are getting stupid instead of reliably dripping in and as when exactly when they're supposed to, you get more of this and less of that, or vice versa, or none of either or too much of both whenever your body just so happens to feel like it. It's like PMT with a vengeance when the thing is so out of balance, and red mist can quite easily descend for no particular reason at the drop of a hat. BTDTGTTS - and had the screaming matches with whoever happened to be at the other end of the phone and broken doors and windows in the process. God - the number of times I've had to ring back or go and see people to apologise. So bloody embarrassing.

I worked for a man - with two other ladies. Luckily poor ole Brian had a wife and daughter - and I didn't therefore have the sack!

High BG was merely 'a bit stroppy' in comparison to the hormonal RAGE.

Hi guys, I really thought it was just me, but it seems its actually a thing. I was good today, I was only thinking about it. that said, my BS has been about 6 all day. Lets see what happens tomorrow.
cheers
