Looking forward to tomorrow , im attending a DAFNE one year on class , it will be interesting to see how people have changed i know ive changed a lot ,my HBA!C has come down from being in double figures to being 7.0 which is really pleasing ,i have also been on the pump for nearly 9 months which i wasnt on when i attended the last DAFNE so i think people will notice a lot of difference 🙂

The diabetic day centre in my hospital does 3/4 (i think) Dafne courses a year , and then you each group has a DAFNE catch up 3months on , 6 months on and a year on .I think we are very lucky as im not sure if other DafNE courses offer follow ups .🙂

Thanks Lairy 🙂 The DAFNE and DESMOND courses are great for getting motivated , even though ive been diabetic for 30 years the confidence it gave me , when i saw improvements in my diabetic contro; worked wonders
