Welcome coffeesnob! 🙂 No problems at all with your coffee unless you take heaps of sugar in it and like it with cakes and biscuits! :D

Have you been diagnosed long and how you doing with control?

Welcome, you have come to the right place for support

Hi coffeesnob and welcome. Great avatar:D

been t2 for about 20 years - I started with an under active thyroid post pregnancy and at the same time became a wheelchair user I put on weight before i was diagnosed. then more weight with starting insulin. I have been carb counting for months now and have not lost an ounce (meanwhile my OH also t2 has lost 5.5stone😡) so now i am on 1200 cals and 90 carbs. or at least i am meant to be this past month has been so difficult i have almost given up. the coffee does come without without the sweet favours but can i resist the cappuccino:( which in my mug has 100mls of lovely frothy milk😉

Welcome, it is so hard when however little you are eating it makes no difference to your weight. Could it be due to other medication you are taking?

Hi grannylorraine - most definitely I take morphine for my disability and linagliptin but mostly i think it is my disability being a wheelchair user means it is so difficult to excercise. i do swim twice a week

Hi and welcome support a plenty on here x
