Hello, hope everyone is well!

We are wondering if you have spare time and live with one or more long-term health condition, if you would be willing to take part in our study exploring questionnaires on treatment burden. This study, sponsored by the University of Aberdeen, will involve completing a 30-minute survey on questions relating to treatment burden, and you will be entered into a prize draw for your chance to win £40 in Amazon vouchers.

If interested please click on the following link for further information:

On the link you will find the contact details of myself and the other student researcher if you need to ask any questions.
We appreciate your help.

Many thanks in advance!

This looks like really interesting research! I'd be really keen to see some more information about your study from one researcher to another!

Thank you! I find this topic very fascinating indeed and I hope this research could make a difference in a practical way. You're more than welcome to send a private message if you want to discuss more!

Interesting way of presenting a health questionnaire - I've not seen that done before! Personally I think it's a reasonable thing to do - though it does give whoever is evaluating the data at the end of the exercise more work so that's probably not such a bad idea at the moment! 🙂

Thank you for your comment! The concept of treatment burden has been emerging more and more in the literature and I think it is something very interesting to explore. Since it has been conceptualised in different ways multiple questionnaires have been developed, hence we are looking into these measures and how people score and think of them.
It's going to be a lot of work for both myself and the other student on the project, but I trust it will be very rewarding!
Feel free to ask any questions 🙂

I chose to answer the questions as if we were not in lockdown.
Some of the questions about arranging and attending appointments are irrelevant at present, as most have been cancelled.

Done, however, it was a bit strange the way some of the questions were phrased regarding cost and access to provision, which sounded as if they were developed for a patient pays system like in the US, rather than how things mostly work here.

Thank you very much for letting me know about this, and thank you for completing the questionnaire. I greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for completing the quesitonnaire! I appreciate your feedback regarding this. One of the questionnaires was indeed developed in the USA, we want to see how this is perceived by a UK population.

Hey everyone, we are still looking for participants so feel free to complete the study if you haven't yet!
We appreciate all the help we got so far 🙂
