Just wanting some advise really....

When diagnosed I was in the process of waiting for some life insurance to start I have declared that I have type 1 diabetes after I had been accepted and they have already been accepted and the insurance company have said they will no longer insure me as I am too high a risk! As my mortgage advisor has told me all insurance companies will have the same response... Now I'm sure someone must cover people with diabetes!! So just wondering if anyone has any advise for me 🙂

I would talk to an insurance broker, i.e. a specialist in insurance matters rather than flogging loans for a living. Unless anyone comes up with a better suggestion, of course!

Might be worth checking the diabetes uk website...you will find someone to insure you (we've got me covered at any rate!) but the cost & terms might not be brilliant. Being flippant, one time the D will help you is when they fix your pension annuity! 😉

Thanks for your help 🙂 I will definatly check these out!! It made me so annoyed they said if u don't have any 'relapses' in a year then we will consider it! I was like what do you mean relapse iv got diabetes I'm not dieing I don't think people understand at all!

P.s just read my post back I'm glad you could understand it, it doesn't make sence haha
