Sorry to hear you have been struggling Kathleen :( Remember, we are all here for you whenever you want to let off steam or need some help and support {{{HUGS}}} If you don't feel up to the gym, try to get a daily walk in - every little helps, and it will help lift your mood as well 🙂

Good to hear from you Kathleen. Hope you're doing some fun things during school hours, in addition to housework. I find walking or cycling so much more enjoyable than gym, becausr of seeing changes in seasons, familiar faces etc.

Have you talked with your GP about your difficulties in controlling your diabetes and increasing your sertraline dose? Diabetes is a tough and demanding condition, so you need proper support. One thing is for sure, though - housework isn't as important as looking after yourself. I hope you have a good sleep and you'll update us tomorrow.

I’m sorry you’re feeling so fed up Kathleen. Do you receive support from your Diabetes nurse/team and do you have support around you? Are you having counselling or any kind of therapeutic help because it really sounds like you need it. It sounds to me like you feel alone with trying to keep control of this and many aspects of your life and you really could do with some help. Speak to someone and see what can be offered to help Kathleen. Do you have other physical conditions which are making things harder for you?
You were feeling so focussed and positive recently but obviously you’ve lost your footing. You can get it back and you will. Take care and good luck. Amigo

Sorry to hear you’re struggling, Kathleen. :(Sending (((hugs))). I think we can all appreciate what you’re feeling...do you think talking to someone might help? Exercising sounds like a good plan, especially the gym when it’s cold outside.🙄

Try not to get overwhelmed by thinking you have to make lots of changes all at once Kathleen, take things one positive step at a time 🙂 Start with your plan, and outline some small achievable goals 🙂 Good luck, do please let us know how things go, or if you need some support, we all want the best for you and for you to get back on track 🙂 {{{HUGS}}}

{*hugs. Makes you a pot of tea*}

Hi Kathleen - sorry you are feeling so bad, I wish I could say something to help you, but I am feeling much the same, I thought I had got to grips with D after my diagnosis in January, but after going on holiday in September I just went back into depression and for quite a few weeks went completely off the rails eating loads of carbs and even some sugary things didn't even want to post on this site. I am now back to going to basics, I have started again by just cutting out the sugary foods, and having a sensible breakfast of berries and yogurt, next I will work on my evening meals and finally my lunches as I find that the hardest. Don't try and do everything at once, take small steps and want to assure you, you are not alone in what you are feeling. Take care and sending you hugs.

Hi guys sorry not been on much still not sorted plans out but i am going to start once i get 5 mins to myself i thought cutting down to one day a week would be better but im constantly busy and i only have one child to contend with but she can be a handful. i think its best i take small steps and it will fall into place for me Thank you everyone for your support x x x
